Summer Capital of the Philippines: Baguio City

We went to Baguio last February 2008, this was our first tour as freshman tourism students. We departed Manila at 12 midnight of February 14, a Valentines Day. While on our way, we only slept, chitchat, sound trip and ate snacks at the bus since travel time will be more or less six (6) hours .We only woke up when we felt cold and dizzy, so we looked out the window and saw a foggy, green and winding road which made us more excited to explore. :)

Then, we arrived Baguio at 0630H and were given 30 minutes to eat breakfast on pax account.

Just had this for breakfast:

Then we started our Day 1:

The Mansion (also known as the Mansion House) is the official summer residence of the President of the Philippines.

Next stop is . . . . .

Then . . .

Wright Park
After our we walking tour, we were advised by our professors to go back to our the bus so we can check in at Venus Parkview Hotel to eat lunch and rest.

Rest overnight . . . .

Day 2:

Strawberry Farm

Then . . . .

Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto
And . . .

Bell Church and Bell Tower

We went back to the hotel and had our lunch and our instructors allowed us to do whatever we like in the afternoon ..

So we decided to go on Pasalubong Shopping . . .

We went back to the hotel to rest and we had the usual college programs and activities then, rest overnight ...

Day 3, last day, huhu :(

Burnham Park
We spent our last minute here, boating and playing in the playground, like little kids :D haha

Also, this is a must try:

Strawberry Taho

Strawberry Ice Cream

I must say, I super enjoyed my first tout even though I had limited pictures since my camera is not feeling well, hahaha! Kidding aside. I will never forget my Baguio Escape and will make sure to come back :D
